AECSD Annual Educational Seminar 2024

AECSD Annual educational seminar was held online on December 17-18, 2024 The seminar brought together more than 100 people, and speakers and listeners from more than 15 countries took part in the seminar, including representatives of the ADC member depositories and observers.

The purpose of the seminar is to share experiences, improve knowledge about accounting systems models in other countries, and coordinate joint actions for the development and integration of financial markets.

The topics of the seminar were relevant issues for the depository sector: service diversification, compliance and KYC, risk management and settlements. In addition, the participants shared the results of their activities in 2024 and plans for the near future.

The AECSD Participants  plan to maintain constructive and regular communication between central depositories, develop common initiatives, and transfer expertise. The priorities of the participants continue to be the development of innovations, strengthening financial stability and increasing operational reliability.
