Central Securities Depository Took Part in a Seminar

On December 23, 2019, the representatives of the Central Securities Depository of the Republic of Belarus took part in the seminar “Securities Market in the Republic of Belarus: Trends, Innovations, Development Directions”. The seminar was organized by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus.

Among the spokesmen were the representatives of the Ministry of Finance of Belarus, infrastructure organizations of the Belarusian stock market, banks and other professional participants in the securities market.

The event`s agenda included such major issues as the current state and prospects of the development of the securities market, digitalization and remote servicing of the market, the development of depository activities, securitization mechanisms, the stock market, and the integration of the securities market into the global financial system.

Andrey Aksenov, Director of the Central Securities Depository, delivered a presentation on “Strengthening the Position and Role of the Central Securities Depository as an Objective Reality. Development of Depository Activities.”
