Seminar “The Securities Market of the Republic of Belarus. Conditions and Prospects for Developing of the Market”

From 4 to 5 November 2019, JSC Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE) held a seminar “The Securities Market of the Republic of Belarus. Conditions and Prospects for Developing of the Market”. The event took place in Minsk and brought together the representatives of structural subdivisions of banks, carrying out securities transactions, and non-bank professional participants as well. Representatives of domestic regulators of the financial market, infrastructure organizations and also international experts (delegates from FinTech companies and exchanges, brokers) from Great Britain, Kazakhstan, and the Russian Federation were invited to take part in the seminar.

It is an annual event and the place to share opinions and discussions on the securities market development.

The meeting was focused on the regulation and development of the securities market of the Republic of Belarus, legislative innovation, remote customer identification, IT-solutions for automating of brokers business, an interface between remote banking services system and BCSE trading system.

In the course of the seminar Andrew Aksenov, Director of Central Securities Depository of Belarus, delivered a presentation on “Central Securities Depository and the Depository System of Belarus”.
