AECSD Publishes Updated Profile

The secretariat of the Association of Eurasian Central Securities Depositories (AECSD) has prepared an updated profile of the organization together with the AECSD members. The new profile includes useful information about the AECSD member countries’ stock markets and infrastructures, key market indicators such as market capitalization, average daily turnovers in financial markets, a number of issuers of shares circulating in stock markets, traded financial instruments, countries’ credit ratings, key market participants, settlement cycles etc.

The profile also includes the up-to-date data on the situation in settlement infrastructures in 2014 and performance indicators of these countries’ settlement institutions. The AECSD profile represents a unique document containing not only general information on stock markets’ peculiarities, but also a description of disclosure requirements, of application of a nominee holder concept, of current corporate action systems and systems of taxation for local and international investors.

The AECSD profile is designed for professional market participants and non-professional investors; it is available in English in the pdf format and is placed on the Association’s website in the Information Materials section.
